In this document I will explain what we did on set. This will include things such as changes we had to make on the day, how we followed health and safety requirements and how we directed cast and crew.
The images above show each member of our group operating the camera whilst being directed. When directing on set, we would shout "silence on set" first so that we wouldn't have any unnecessary sounds in the back. The second thing we would do is say "3,2,1 action" in order to let cast and crew know when the camera was about to start rolling.
As far as following the storyboard goes, things remained quite on track, except for the fact that for one of the conversations, on the day we decided to do shot-reverse-shot for one of the conversation scenes. We also mapped out some slightly different POV shots towards the end.
I have selected a couple of rushes from various scenes above, just to give a general idea of how our shots came together, however, these aren't all the shots we used in the film due to the abundance of shots that we got. These rushes also give an insight into how our filming went.
We followed our risk assessment on set by choosing a day where the weather forecast looked clear. We also vigilantly watched where we put our feet so not to trip, especially in a woods where there can be tree roots or unstable ground everywhere.
